After 30 years of service, Yvonne Grovner is retiring from SINERR. Most people know Yvonne as the bus driver for the island tours and the master of sweet grass basket making. When the Friends were working on the island Yvonne was the person you called on if you needed a truck, or to take the beach trash to the dump, paint a fence, or trim the branches hanging over the road, Yvonne would be there to help. Yvonne has been a great friend of the Friends of Sapelo and we will miss her.
