New Communications Outreach Coordinator

NOAA NERRS Margaret A Davidson

The first SINERR Fellow will start in August or September. and conduct graduate (Ph.D.) field research on Sapelo for two years. Dr. Rachel Guy, SINERR’s research coordinator will be serve as Mentor for this position. The Fellow will be integrated into SINERR’s various programs, as one goal of the Davidson Fellowship is to help produce the “next generation of coastal managers.”  NOAA will officially announce the names of the Fellows (one at each NERR) sometime this month.

Georgia Sea Grant State Fellow

SINERR applied to have a State Fellow for 2020-2021, someone who would work on planning community resilience projects for the Reserve and also begin to develop a website focused on the “changing Georgia coast.”  Fellow would be full-time and work on Sapelo.
